Heaven to Me
Okay, so I haven't figured out the flip camera yet, but if you click the title of this post you will be linked to an amazing video. I think I might have died and gone to heaven. Keith Urban singing George Michael. I doesn't get better.

Testing, Testing.
I am testing out my new Flip camera. I am not sure how to add video to the blog. Be patient.
Reality
So it is official. Stuart is off. He is in Georgia for a week before he heads off to Afghanistan. It is easier to think he is in Georgia.
We had a great day yesterday. We saw him off at the airport, had lunch with my dad at Baja Fresh, Molly went to a birthday party and the rest of us went to Fredricksburg. The boys played at the pool with their cousins and then we hung out at Jeff and Katie's house and laughed so hard it hurt.
We then came home to an empty house.
Now I am the only one up and trying to motivate myself into to a productive morning. I decided I would being with updating the blog. I am not sure if this is accomplishing anything or stalling.

File under: My Kids are Just Plain Weird
Lunch today was going to be good. We had leftovers from our Memorial Day picnic. Delicious thing like smoked chicken, ribs, sirloin burgers, Nathan's hot dogs and chicken sausage. Ernie looks over this buffet and moans longingly, "I wish we had some Spam."
On a side note I just heard Ernie say that maybe he has become a vegetarian. We'll see how long that lasts.

HEYOOOOOHHH!!!!!!
So I finally got my carcass around to making some random contribution to this blog. Obviously. So, as I'm sure most of you know ( because I haven't shut up about it for more than three seconds ), I'm getting braces tomorrow. And I like making lists. Naturally I decided I need a braces list. So, here is your very own random-list-about-braces list. WooooOOOOoooh!!!
1. Apparently, I'm not going to be allowed to drink lemon juice straight out of the bottle anymore.

2. I'm thinking this hippo may want to consider braces....

3.No sandwiches for meeee!

4. This is what the ortho is going to do when he walks into the room....just watch.

I suppose "orthodontistry" would be more correct, but it's less fun to say!
5.And last but not least, a random picture I found detaining to what foods are "forbidden". Lovely.

And so, since I'm officially out of ideas, I'm done making lists for today.

Just Peachy
As you know our life is consumed by baseball. Starting Friday night we had something to do with baseball for 24 hours strait. When baseball gets all consuming like that I will sometimes let Molly stay home with the boy that does not have a game. Friday I decided to take everybody to Ernie's game. It was a beautiful day and Molly and Henry had not been outside all day. Henry complained because he wanted to stay home and watch TV. All the more reason to go to the game. Once we get there he stops complaining because there is a group of kids to play with.
Henry and this group of boys run around and play like boys should. It is fun to watch them make up games and rules and just be kids in general. On Friday Henry and one little boy were taking a snack break from all the games. They were sitting far enough away from me that I could hear their conversation, but they did not realize it. I overheard one of the cutest conversations ever! It went something like this: Friend says to Henry, "Do you go to church?" Henry replies, "Yeah." Now before I go on you need to know that this friend is about six years old and is black. Friend says, "Are there mostly white people at you church?" Henry replies again, "Yeah." "There is mostly black people at my church," Friend questions, "I wonder why that is?" Henry looks at his friend and shrugs, "I don't know, maybe there are more white people than black people?" His friend looks at him incredulously and says, "No way man, look around you there are black people, white people, peach people. I like peaches. Do you like peaches?" "I love peaches!" Henry yells. And with that they jumped up and continued their game of zombie tag.
Just for the record, Ernie lost the game Friday night, but won Saturday morning. Henry lost his game Saturday night. Baseball pictures were taken outside for the first time in a couple of years. Glad that weekend is over.
